This is a collection of some of the work I have done. Not everything is here as I like to keep some ideas out of the public domain.
IBM WebSphere Message Broker Performance Report
I collected the majority of the data for these performance reports while I was at IBM. These were not the only documents I was involved in, but these are the ones that are publicly available.
A friend of my brother’s started a music festival after we had a party in a sixth form party in a quarry in 2005. The festival became known as Y-Not Festival in 2006 and has continued to grow. In the last 2 years the festival has sold more than 10,000 tickets and had some major live acts perform.
My involvement started after the festival in 2008. I joined Matt Allen, who had already been doing some of the online work for the festival to produce some unique solutions for helping the festival develop its online brand presence and e-commerce system. Since the solution that Matt and I had developed the festival has sold out and been a huge success.
Update: I no longer work for the festival but I still attend, drink beer and DJ at the event!

I worked for Broadband.co.uk during the summer of 2008. I had several projects I was set, including redesign of MobilePhoneSupermarket.com (no longer available online), creating content management solutions for SEO networks, and rewriting the affilistore off-the-shelf product so that the comparison of products in different xml data feeds was much more accurate. I learnt a lot about SEO and web development working with Broadband.co.uk. The company has moved on a lot since I left but you can still visit Broadband.co.uk for some good deals!

Kenneth Twyford Ltd
A business owned by a very good friend of mine from school. I designed and developed a simple website solution with an email contact page to give the business a presence online. I worked with a photographer Simon Mawbey to produce shots of the vehicles in the fleet. Unfortunately, due to the recession this business no longer operates.
Nathan & Charlotte’s Wedding
I built this for my girlfriend’s sister. Inspired by the idea of my cousins wedding website. I like the design and have made it easy for the bride & groom to deliver information to their guests about the wedding. Went for a traditional design which they both liked. The photography has been done by Eziekiel Taylor a great Derbyshire based photographer.

Ashdale Restoration
Through my local contacts I was approached by Richard Gregory of Ashdale Restoration. He wanted a website to show off his antique clock restoration business. I provided a very simple solution for a modest price. The domain recently expired on this website, but Richard has paid for the renewal of the domain name. Unfortunately it may have lost some pagerank but I think it will bounce back.

Green Man Royal Hotel, Ashbourne
This is the first website I was paid for. Having only just learnt html and css I designed this website for the pub I worked for. It seems they still haven’t updated since I left in 2007! Very simple and not my best work, but its where I started.
